Updating Advanced Fire Fighting [RAFF]
Course Description
Advanced Fire Fighting Updating (Refresher AFF) Course is aimed to give all those seeking updating training certification for Advanced Fire Fighting, the essential education and training set out in Table A-VI/3. This course is part of the mandatory updating certification requirements under the STCW 2010 amendments for all seafarers with designated safety duties who hold an advance firefighting certificate. This course will provide the participant with the necessary refresher training under the STCW 2010 amendments for Advance Fire Fighting.
Eligibility
Updating training is to be undertaken, in line with the above regulations, by seafarers holding an advanced fire fighting certificate, or equivalent Non-Indian participants are required to hold a Valid Student Visa to India to attend the course. For students from countries where embassies do not issue Student Visas for short courses, a Business or relevant visa may be submitted, provided it includes the endorsement: "Maritime Training at HIMT Offshore." Additionally, HIMT will also provide the Visa Letter, if required, upon successful booking of the course.

Details
Reporting Time to HIMT Tidal Park- 6 AM. The bus will leave to HIMT College, Kalpakkam, by 6:15 AM from HIMT Tidal Park
Participants reporting to HIMT College, Kalpakkam directly can report by 7:30 AM
Departure from HIMT Kalpakkam- 4:00 PM
Arrival back to HIMT Tidal Park- 6:30 PM

If candidates miss the bus, then they can report to HIMT College, Kalpakkam campus directly.
Dress Code : Collarless T.Shirts, Shorts, Sandals, Bathroom slippers are not permitted for Physical Classes
Batch will be confirmed subject to having minimum of 3 participants in the batch.
