Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (Other Than Fast Rescue Boats) (PSCRB)

Course Description

This training is a mix of hands-on and theory learning, teaching essential skills for those in a coxswain role on lifeboats and rescue boats, or those tasked with crewing such vessels in the case of an emergency on board.

Eligibility

Before commencing training, trainees must be at least 16 years of age and have received approved or recognised training in Personal Survival Techniques or equivalent. Training may be undertaken by individuals who have not achieved the sea service requirement of a minimum six months, but the certificate will not be awarded until proof of completion of six months sea service has been provided.

Documents Required

  • Personal Survival Techniques Course Certificate 

  • 6 months of sea service proof

  • Candidates need to bring their Boiler suit and Safety Shoes for Practicals

  • Stamp/Passport size photo in formals,

Details

Dress Code : Collarless T.Shirts, Shorts, Sandals, Bathroom slippers are not permitted for Physical Classes
