Advanced Training For Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations

Course Description

The course provides specialist training for senior officers and any person with immediate responsibility for loading, discharging, care in transit or handling of bulk chemical cargoes. Tanker terminal and ship management personnel will build on previous experience and gain a detailed appreciation of the safety aspects involved in the handling and carriage of chemical cargoes.

Eligibility

Tanker Fire Fighting issued under the authority of the MCA
Basic training for Oil & Chemical Tanker Course Completion Certificate issued under the authority of the MCA

Note:

If a candidate has Basic Oil & Chemical Tanker Course Completion Certificate issued by D.G.Shipping, and if the candidate holds a Valid Basic or Advanced Chemical DCE endorsed on their D.G.Shipping CoC then (s)he can enter MCA Advanced Chemical course directly.

Non-Indian participants are required to hold a Valid Student Visa to India to attend the course. For students from countries where embassies do not issue Student Visas for short courses, a Business or relevant visa may be submitted, provided it includes the endorsement: "Maritime Training at HIMT Offshore." Additionally, HIMT will also provide the Visa Letter, if required, upon successful booking of the course.

MCA Basic Oil & Chemical Tanker ( If a candidate is wiling to undergo the course basis their DGS Basic Oil & Chemical Tanker, then they also need to submit a Valid Basic/Advanced Chemical Endorsement)
